Our
Technologies

Stratos Perception develops artificial intelligence solutions and intellectual properties that enhance the intelligence of machines and processes.

Our focus is on advancing the reasoning, sensing, and control capabilities in machines through software, to achieve scale increases in performance, safety, reliability, situational awareness, and autonomy. We breakthrough barriers that may be historically well accepted and fundamental, but that can be penetrated and overcome through AI.

We develop AI that causes machines to be more productive, sustainable, and safe across industries, including healthcare, space, transportation, robotics, energy, and manufacturing.

A Better Brain

We have developed a general solution to underdetermined systems. We call it Artificial Cerebellar Intelligence (ACI™). It provides machine intelligence exceedingly high introspective situational awareness and enables expansive adaptive and predictive capabilities concerning internal system and environmental time-varying behaviors. In other words, with the ACI humanoid robots can become safe, graceful, and fast in the performance of their missions in stochastic and fragile real world environments. Further, unanticipated failures of complex machines can be rapidly interpreted and mitigated. ACI can infer 100’s of impractical-to-measure time-varying physical attributes and behaviors of complex dynamical systems, enabling control systems to mitigate dangers, optimize production outcomes, and perform novel complex operations in real-time that may have normally required operator or offline support. Multiphase Flow Monitoring

Our patented AI technology essentially eliminates uncertainties in the phasic metering and comprehension of many classes of multiphase flows. The technology works in any acceleration field, and is therefore applicable to both stationary systems and mobile systems (e.g., aircraft and spacecraft systems). Notably, multiphase flow properties and behaviors (e.g.,concerning heat transfer, pressure losses, and phasic volumetric flow rates) in stationary systems are nevertheless are affected by the directions of the flow relative to Earth's gravity, varying with the directions of the flow channel, relative to the Earth's surface (e.g., parallel, diagonal, perpendicular). However, our multiphase flow monitoring technology is agnostic to flow directions in gravity, and also works on orbit, i.e., in microgravity. (more)
